Wild Geese by Anna Howard
Wild geese is a podcast covering a wide range of topics through the host Anna Howard’s unique point of view. These topics include: creativity, literacy, writing, life experiences, relationships and the subjective experience. The episodes range from 20 to 45 minutes long and are released every two weeks. You can find wild geese on many podcast streaming platforms as well as video episodes on Youtube. My first encounter with the podcast was the digital gardening episode releases on February 11th 2025. From that episode, I was hooked.
Since becoming a regular listener, I feel I have finally found a creative person who’s values and point of view align with my own. My enjoyment of this show comes from Anna and her diverse passions. Her personality and thought processes are engaging and easy to follow when watching/listening. She makes good point and brings in her own subjective experience to each topic she talks about.
What strikes me about Anna is her immense love for learning and critical thinking. She has never proclaimed to be an expert at these topics but simultaneously convinces you why her point of view matters. Her skills are inspiring.Anna has a unique research and note taking process that adds so many interesting points of conversation to her podcast. I have fallen in love with new writers thanks to her recommendation.
It’s times like this when I regret deleting Instagram because Anna engages with her audience frequently and allows them to be part of the podcast process. You can find her at: wildgeesepod or annacorinnina.
A good review should contain objective analysis of strengths and weaknesses but I see no weakness in this podcast as a whole. It is insightful, unique and inspiring. I hope more creators on the internet, including myself, can follow in Anna’s footsteps.
Here are my top three favourite episodes as of lately.
